Embody

My senior thesis, “Embody,” represents my desire to fully inhabit and embrace who I am — emotionally, physically, and mentally — through a visual exploration of my ever-evolving relationship with myself.

About Embody

This book began as an attempt to understand myself and process my own experiences and feelings. It’s an exploration of self-growth and identity through a series of illustrations, serving as both a personal archive and a testament to the nature of life, emotions, and growing up.

Each illustration is an ode to a feeling — a way of exploring coming out of my shell and stepping into my body.

On Embodying

Through creating this book, I’ve come to understand that embodying yourself isn’t about having all the answers or feeling completely whole. I’m not sure that’s ever possible. It’s about being present with who you are, even when that changes — leaving space for growth and being open to the unknown.

For me, embodying means learning to exist fully in my own skin. It means learning to let go, embracing every part of me, expressing how I feel, and trusting myself.
